We Have Great Taste!
Friday was the fourth grade Taste of the States Celebration. Each classroom served foods from a region of the United States. We presented some delicious food from the Midwest. Thank you to all the parents who donated food and supplies and helped out. It was a fun and yummy way to find out about our country!

Sold!
We had a great time today at the fourth grade Super Sale! Students bought and sold goods and were producers and consumers. Thanks to all the parents for helping with the items and to all the CES staff who stopped buy to shop!

Super Sale!
The 4th grade students will be holding a “Super Sale” on Thursday afternoon, February 16. Each student should bring in items to sell that can easily be placed on his/her desktop. Items should be junk drawer treasures, old toys, baked goods or crafts.
- Items should be marked “garage sale” style with his/her initials and a price, not to exceed $2.00 for any one item.
- Items to be sold should be brought to school in a bag marked with the student’s name.
- Each student should bring money to spend, not to exceed $2.00. This money should be in change. No bills please!
We are all looking forward to this activity! It will be an interesting way to reinforce the economics that we’ve studied.

As part of our unit on Economics, students worked together to run virtual lemonade stands. Each group decided how to spend money on supplies and how much to charge depending on the weather.
